In many cases, even though you are the victim of a violent crime where you had no choice but to defend yourself and your family, you're not always presumed innocent.
Even if witnesses can corroborate your story, that doesn't mean you won't be facing serious criminal and/or very costly civil charges.
I have personally seen cases that were clearly self-defense where the victim was charged with First Degree Murder and sent to prison.
The risk of losing your freedom, family, income, savings, career, reputation, and the life you once had is far too great to NOT have some sort of protection in place.
This is why I am a member of the USCCA and why I strongly encourage anyone who owns a gun to also become a member.
It's not just for concealed carry weapon permit holders. It's for anyone who uses their Second Amendment rights to defend themselves and their loved ones responsibly.
Can you afford to pay tens of thousands of dollars in attorney's fees and risk going to prison?
USCCA Members immediately get self-defense liability insurance as an automatic membership benefit.
